A hand-tied bouquet in a nude range, built on coffee-coloured roses with terracotta and peach, spray rose stems, lisianthus and eucalyptus. An earthy tone that looks nothing like what people expect from a bouquet. Handmade in Palma, delivered across Mallorca.

When people picture a bouquet, they picture red or pink. This one goes elsewhere: the flower in charge here is the coffee-coloured rose, a toasted, cinnamon-leaning shade that barely exists in natural flowers. Around it, terracotta and peach for warmth, white lisianthus to open light in between, and eucalyptus to break the outline. It is a bouquet of short range and steady tone: it does not catch the eye because of the colour, it catches the eye because you had never seen that colour in a bouquet.

What makes this bouquet unusual. An earthy toasted shade, between cinnamon and caramel, that is not in the usual range of a florist.

Terracotta, peach and spray roses
The warmth. Large roses in warm tones and spray rose stems spread through to fill without packing.

The light and the air. White lisianthus opens gaps in the toasted range and eucalyptus loosens the outline.

Care instructions

It arrives hand-tied and wrapped in kraft paper, which is what protects the flowers in transit. On arrival, remove the paper, cut a couple of centimetres off the stems at an angle and put it in a vase with clean water. Change the water every two days, trimming a little each time. Away from direct sun, heating and ripening fruit, it lasts six to eight days. The eucalyptus keeps going far longer: when the roses fade, take it out and let it dry — it looks good dried.

Are the coffee-coloured roses natural?

Yes, they are natural roses. It is a variety grown in that toasted shade, between cinnamon and caramel. Nothing is painted or dyed.

Does it always have exactly the same tones?

The nude range stays the same, but a specific tone may vary. If the order comes in at short notice or the supplier does not have that colour that week, we adjust with the closest rose available.

Is it a bridal bouquet?

The binding looks similar, but we do not sell it as a bridal bouquet. It is a gift bouquet built hand-tied, with the stems gathered and visible.

How does it arrive?

Hand-tied and wrapped in kraft paper, which protects the flowers in transit. You remove the paper on arrival and it goes straight into a vase.

How long does it last?

Six to eight days with clean water and away from the sun. The eucalyptus lasts much longer and can be left to dry.
